Looks like the Hubbard bros are starting to film more footage to a possible follow up to their amazing Hubboards Movie. According to Matt Tanaka's (@tanakattack808) Instagram, they are going to be down under in Australia for the next two weeks filming and seeking out some of the craziest breaks that Australia has to offer. Wish them luck and with that we leave you with the original Hubboards Movie. If you haven't seen it yet, we suggest you sit back and take it all in. Cheers!
For our Spotlight Series features we enjoy reading about wave riders who enjoy any type of wave riding. That's what we here at OkShoots are all about, is that Waveslide Culture. This week's Spotlight features wave rider Bob King who just enjoys his time in the water and his face shows it every time. Enjoy the Q and A with Bob.
This clip features two of the most fearless wave riders taking on some of the heaviest shore break that Hawaii has to offer. They take the beatings and keep charging harder than the last time. We hope the sport of wave riding or other wave rider peers don't take these guys for granted because they're freaking amazing and fearless when it comes to these beatings. The video clip features Andre Botha and Seabass Perez, but the clip also has guest spotlights from other fearless shore break lovers. Enjoy the clip.
How's it everyone! Welcome to this week's Spotlight Series feature on wave rider and all around good guy Kevin Ferris. If you're ever in San Diego he is definitely one of the guys to seek out and go wave riding with, whether its on a surfboard, surfmat, or even bodysurfing you will probably find this guy somewhere around the water. Thanks Kevin and enjoy the Spotlight Series Q and A!
This week's Spotlight Series features Kaloeo Cambonga-Meyers, who is one of many wave riders who deserves some time in the Spotlight and we are helping provide some shine his way. Check out our Q and A with Kaleo and what he has to say.
When riding a surf mat one may think to ride it as if it was a bodyboard, but according to the videos that we have found through YouTube after the jump. that's the wrong way to ride a surf mat.
Welcome to the Spotlight Series! This week's Spotlight Series features Sponge Daily's Wally Sani. This Oceanside legend is all about having fun in and out of the water and spreading those Aloha Vibes. Enjoy the feature on Wally Sani.
Whoever first dared to stand up on a bodyboard is a pure innovator. One of the first people that we seen stand-up on a bodyboard was Chris "wonton" Taloa. He was just a pure waterman, good on both prone and dropknee. Well following in those foot steps we stumbled upon this El Salvadorian they call "Zancudo." The clip says it all, enjoy!
